The Architectural Tour

One evening we took the Architectural Tour down the Chicago River.  We got one one of the large boats and spent 70 minutes traveling the river hearing about some of the most famous buildings in the city.  It was a beautiful and some what hot night, but it was very interesting to hear.  Ian slept most of the way through it, but the rest of us enjoyed it.

After the tour we walked to a near by seafood restaurant where C, my mom and I all had the lobster boil.  It took C a long time to eat his because he was having difficulty shelling it.  He didn’t want help, but he finally got it all.  Lucky for us Ian was good as gold!

There was a fire station across the street from our hotel room.  Ian loved to watch the fire trucks as well as all the other passing vehicles.
