State Fair

This past Saturday we went to the state fair.  It has been a few years since we went and I wanted to take Ian to see the animals.  We were there during the Texas-OU game so it brought back lots of memories for me!  We made it down there right after the game had started, so the crowds were not that bad.  We spent way too much on lunch  and then headed over to the little barnyard.  Ian had so much fun looking at the animals.  He couldn’t quite figure out the feeding them thing, but then again the animals were not that hungry.  He was able to wonder from one animal to another.  He seemed to enjoy the goats the most because he kept going back to them!

After visiting all the animals, we had to visit the cars for Christopher.  He was able to check out all of his favorites.  We then headed out just before the game finished.  Ian was so tired last night, he actually wanted to snuggle before bed!  He also seemed to dole out hugs.  Guess he loved the fair!
