Summer camp this year was in Glorietta, New Mexico. Christopher left on July 7th and headed with my niece and 17 others teenagers for a busy week. My brother-in-law, sister-in-law and nephew also drove up to enjoy a week of vacation in the mountains. Sunday night they stayed at a church in Amarillo and then got up the next day to drive to New Mexico. On the way there they stopped to swim and jump off the cliffs. Christopher was able to get his little cousin Ethan to jump off the cliffs! The rest of the week was spent in the cool mountain air. According to Shane, Christopher had a great time and fit in well with all the kids.
Instead of heading back with the youth group, my brother-in-law and sister-in-law took Christopher, Grace and Ethan to Red River. Saturday morning they went white water rafting down the Rio Grande River just outside of Taos. On Sunday, they went to church and enjoyed Red River. Then on Monday they rented a jeep and explored the area.
