Day 3 ~ Progresso, Mexico

When we woke up on Dec. 20th we were at the port of Progresso.  We had to get up early because we had booked a tour to the Uxmal Mayan Ruins.  We boarded a bus and drove for an hour and half through the Yucatan.  Our tour guide walked us through many of the ruins and gave us the history behind them.  Then we had two hours to explore on our own.

After the tour, we had time to enjoy a lunch in an authentic Mexican restaurant.  It was so yummy!
