Grand Tetons–Day 5

Our last day in the mountains and we sure did enjoy it.  We did one last hike and it was a big one!  Round trip the hike was 3.4 miles long.  Ian and I did the hike up to the lake and waited for Steve and C.  They went ahead and went further up to see the glacier in the side of the mountain.  They did double back to help me get Ian through a slightly difficult pass, but other than that, Ian hiked the whole way up!  I was pretty impressed with him.  When we got to the top, he swam in Taggert Lake.  It was just stunning!

Then we headed back down the mountain.  Ian walked all by one tenth of the 1.7 mile trail down.  We were all impressed.  He was earning Pez along the way!  He was one tuckered little boy and feel asleep on our way to Teton Village.

We headed to Teton Village for a little dinner and to ride the gondola up the mountain.
