July Bugs

While Steve and Ian were making pancakes, we were talking about birthdays.  He knew Christopher’s birthday was in April and it was over, so we started talking about my birthday being in May and Daddy’s in July.  Later, that morning he and I were taking out the trash and found our driveway covered in June bugs. We talked about the June bugs and how we needed to sweep them later. After running errands, he asked to get his broom so he could sweep the “July” bugs. Even though, I told him they were June bugs, he insists on calling them “July” bugs.
