Spring Break–Going to the Zoo

On Thursday, Ian and I picked up Jim and Barb and headed to the zoo.  It was an overcast, cool day.  It was perfect to look at the animals and walk around.  We headed over to the Savannah area first to check out the animals and eat some lunch.  Ian had the best time checking everything out! After lunch, we headed over the the children’s areas.  He loved the petting the goats!  He also loved the house exhibit that had lots of things to touch and open.

We ended our afternoon with a trip on the carrousel.  We had a fun day and I am sure we will be going back in the near future!
