Two months away from being 2, oh time has flown little man! Your teachers tell us how smart you are! You can point out all of your friends cubbies! You have started to learn your colors. It started at school with yellow and you love to point it out to all of us! This has also caused an obsession with colored pencils or “colors” as you call them! You like to lay them all out and carry them around with you. The more you have the better. This is pretty much true for anything you are holding or eating! We hear the word “mores” a lot around here! I have heard you count to ten a few times. You don’t really know what the numbers mean, but you will say them as you lay out your toys.
This month you have started to play with your toys a little bit more appropriately. You love your cars and will line them up. You also love to look at car magazines with Christopher. He is trying to teach you the names of various cars. It’s pretty cute to hear the conversations the two of you have together! Christopher is still “Trish” and it is the funniest thing your dad and I have heard. We love when you yell up for him!
You vocabulary is growing by leaps and bounds. I can’t even keep track of all the words you know! You have started to put two and three words together to form simple sentences. It definitely has made our lives easier. We know what you want most of the time.
Ian you are still very strong willed and want you way. You will throw a tantrum if you don’t get your way. You are figuring things out in this world. You are a funny little boy with a great personality! Your dad and love you to the moon and back!
