At 21 months, you are a busy little boy who is definitely starting to test the limits. You are stubborn and want to do things for yourself! Even with your independent streak, everyone comments on how happy you are and it is true!
You are speaking so much and will mimic the words that we all say to you! ‘ Some words are starting to come in pairs like “mama go” or “come mama.” You will have entire conversations in your own babble language. It’s pretty stinkin’ cute because you talk with your hands and will shake your head! You are starting to say “pees” (please) and “tank you” (thank you). It is so sweet.
This month you went through a week in which you cried when I dropped you off at school, but by the time I picked you up, you didn’t want to leave! Each morning you pick out something to take with you to school. Some days it’s your dogs (three of the four) others days it’s your “gankies” (blankets).
Reading books has become a favorite activity. You enjoy looking at books and labeling the pictures and you love to have stories read to you. You love the story “Little Blue Truck” and any story that has a dog in it! Sic (Music) is also a favorite thing. You will listen to the same few songs over and over again! You will also jam to the music on my alarm clock.
