Oh my goodness this month has been so much fun. You are speaking more and more each day. The words and concepts you understand amaze. You pointed at your brother’s birthday pie which was covered in stars and told me “star.” You label lots of pictures in your books. You say “Mommy and Daddy,” but the cutest thing you say right now is “Ris” (Chris). Oh it melts my heart!
Your current favorite thing is dogs. We saw some over spring break on t.v. and now you will bring us the remote and say “dog.” It’s pretty cute. You also love to carry your two stuffed animal dogs with you. Visiting Ginger, our neighbor’s dog ,when she is outside is a slight obsession. Luckily she is the sweetest dog and she loves you too!
Besides carrying your dogs with you, you will also take your “Brown Bear” book with you. You love to turn the page and label the dog to anyone that will listen. You also will say “ba, ba” for the sheep, “neigh, neigh” for the horse and “quack, quack” for the duck. You can say “teacher” and will label some of the faces with your friends names. It’s really cute!
You love to listen to music. Some of your favorite songs are “wheels on the bus” “the airplane song,” “The ABC’s” and “If your Happy and You Know It.” I often pick you up from school during music time. You are happily dancing and doing the hand motions with your friends.
We love you to the moon and back little man!
