On Tuesday, we picked up Jim and Barb and headed to the Dallas Zoo for a day of fun. Our first stop was the children’s area.

After he fished pointing out all the fish, we headed to the duck pond. It has a little bridge you could cross. Ian kept saying “quack, quack”
V visiting the goats was next on our agenda. I thought he might be scared of them since on our last visit he got his hand pinched by a hoof. He walked right in the pen and started petting the goats without any fear!
As we headed out of the children’s area, we of course had to play in the water. It was a cold, but he still splashed for a few minutes.
He checked out the monkeys and the kangaroos.
On the way out we decided to try the carousel. Ian loved it. He kept looking up to figure out how the gorilla was going up and down. It was too cute!
