Balloon

Over the past few weeks Ian has become more intentional in his pointing and then will talk (babble) about whatever he has pointed to.   We were at the grocery store and he pointed at all the balloons, the Halloween decorations, lights and the flags.  He was so enthusiastic about it all that I couldn’t resist getting him a balloon!  He smiled all the way home!  He pointed to it all day long and carried it all over the place.  As soon as Steve and Christopher got home, the first thing he did was point at it.  Later that evening, he even started to pair the “ba” sound with balloon.  At one point, both Steve and I swear we heard him say “balloon.”  His language is certainly coming along and it is so cute!
