Little man it has been so much fun to watch you grow, learn and try new things this month.  You went from finding your feet to sitting up unassisted in one weekend.  By the end of the month you were rolling from your back to your belly.  Finally, tonight you rolled from your belly to your back.  These milestones are so much fun.  You will stand up and hold on to our hands.  It is too cute.

You also became interested in drinking.  You love to drink from cups.  If we have one in our hands and are holding you, you do everything in your power to reach for that cup.  If we are eating out, you get excited to see the cups on the table.  You are surprisingly good at drinking from them  At home, we let you have some water from a sippy cup while we are eating dinner.  It keeps you very entertained. 

You get tired and are ready for bed around 7.  You are usually in bed by 7:30.  You go in spurts and will sleep through the night for many nights and then will spend several nights waking up.  Lucky for me, it is usually just once.  If it’s a good night, you have a quick drink and are back down in less than 30 minutes.  On the weekends you sleep until about 7:15 or so.  On school days, I usually have to wake you up at 6:30.  At school you don’t really have a schedule.  Your naps are all over the place and for various times.  At home you will take a cap nap in the morning and a longer afternoon nap. 

This month, we got you well from your December illness, only to have you get sick again on your first day back at school.  It started with a cold and turned into RSV and croup.  We are back to doing breathing treatments and hopefully we will get over it soon. 

You like your toys and will play with them for long periods of time.  You will play and this give me a few minutes to clean the house or start dinner.  All of your toys go in your mouth.  You love your moose and your links.  You are all boy, when I hold you you want to crawl up my stomach and over my shoulder.  If we are on the couch, you will launch your self off my lap and onto the pillows.  You think this is hilarious.  You nuzzle your head into my neck and it is sweet!

I can’t believe you have been here for 6 months, it is like you have always been apart of our family.  I love you so much little man!
