One Month

Stats:

Height: 20.75 inches

Weight: 8 pounds 12 ounces

Head Circumference: 14.75

 

The past month has been both amazing and exhausting.  Bringing Ian home has been a dream come true!  I could watch him all day long.  He loves to hang in his bouncy chair for short periods of time.  He kicks his arms and legs about.  He seems to go from one feeding to the next with not much napping in between.  He is very alert for hours at a time.  We love seeing him wide awake.  Nights are getting better with him sleeping for 4 hours at a time.  Unfortunately, we also found out at his one month check up that he has a food allergy.  Poor little man has a rash all over his body.  We are working on figuring out which food he is allergic to.  He has outgrown many of his newborn outfits and is wearing 0-3 months clothes.  He moved from newborn diapers to size ones.  He definitely is working on his round parts as Steve would say.  Christopher says “he is working on construction of his third chin.”  Ian is called thunder squirt by his father and little man by his mom.
