We enjoyed welcoming you into the world and getting to bring you home. It was a dream come true. During the day you were a happy, content baby. Your nights were not so fun. The first three were spent in the hospital and you had horrible gas. This is common in c-section babies. Lucky for both us, your daddy spent the night easing your tummy and getting you to sleep. When we got home your tummy troubles continued at night and we had one horrible night and one hellish night that had both you and I crying. Once again, your dad worked his magic and you finally fell asleep. Finally on Friday, you had a great night and we all were able to sleep! It was much needed. You tummy troubles have eased and we are so thankful.
One thing that I love most is that when you fall asleep on my chest you let you ease your right leg along my side. You did the exact same thing when you were in my belly! You also like to look at us through one eye. You will open one just slightly and look out. It is very cute. You are surprisingly strong. Even the nurses would comment on your strength. You kick and push off of us with such force. You can control you neck in small bursts and when you are mad, you can rock your self from side to side.
You have earned quite a few nicknames. Most of them have centered around you gaseous nature. You are called McGasterson, Tooter Mc Tooterson, and Gasomatic. When you are swaddled up, we like to call you our little taquito or our little burrito.
