After spending three nights in the hospital we were discharged on Tuesday. As soon as we knew we were free to leave, Steve started loading our bags into the car. I dressed Ian in his homecoming outfit, I fed him one more time and then we hit the road.
It took three of us to figure out the car seat, but we finally were able to secure Ian safely and head out the door.

Christopher, Granny and Trouble greeted us when we arrived home. Trouble spent a lot of time sniffing Ian. She settled down after awhile and has done really well with him.
To further help welcome us home, my parents came by with lunch and dinners for the week. Everyone got to love on Ian. It was a special day!
