Our home away from home this week is a beautiful log cabin home in Silverthorne, Colorado. The home belongs to the Shapiros, a couple that brought one of our homes in Chicago 25 years ago. My parents ran into the Shapiros last summer at a wedding they were attending. They mentioned they had a rental home in Colorado, so my dad checked it out and thought it would be perfect for a whole family vacation. We are so excited to be invited along for the week!
