Goin’ Coastal

On Saturday, we headed to Cowboy Stadium for the Kenny Chesney Going Coastal concert.  I have been so excited for weeks about this concert because the Zac Brown band was opening for him.  Since Steve’s company built the amps being used by Kenny’s guitarists, we were fortunate enough to get backstage passes and tickets to the sandbar, which is located in front of the stage! IMG_7111 We hadn’t been to the new stadium, so it was all very exciting. IMG_6548 We were able to enter the stadium through the players underground entrance.  It was so cool!  As soon as we got there, we headed to stage area so we could see the show.  This year, we didn’t really hang out backstage instead we enjoyed the whole show up front and center.  It was a long evening of standing, but we had so much fun.  IMG_6547 IMG_6568

After the show we headed backstage to hang out in the Vibe room.  We waited to meet some of the various band members.  Cowboy, Jason Whitton was also waiting with us.  Christopher got to shake hands with Billy Currington.  We waited for an hours, but then decided to leave since it was already past midnight.
