Christopher’s big gift this year was a remote controlled airplane. Steve and I went to pick it out at the hobby store. We asked for an easy to fly plane for an 11 year. The man sold us a Hobby Cub plane and told us it was the best beginner plane on the market. Christopher was in control of the plane on the inaugural flight.
Unfortunately, Steve did not give him much directions on how to fly it and the plane crashed in 4 seconds. The plane had to be glued back together after the crash landing. On January 1st we finally had a beautiful morning to fly the plane. This time, Steve took the controls so that he could show Christopher how to fly it.
The plane was up for about 5 minutes.
Then suddenly it took a nose dive into the field. The plane did not fair well and new parts need to be purchased. This is definitely an expensive present! Hopefully the two of them will get it figured out soon and Christopher will get to enjoy some flying time!
