We traveled to the Gaylord Texan to see the ICE exhibit. It was a big surprise for Christopher since we wouldn’t tell him where we were going!
We were there a little early and got to enjoy the trains in the lobby.
Then we made our way to the ICE exhibit. The theme was The Grinch Who Stole Christmas!
The Gaylord used 2 million tons of ice to crave the ice sculptures over 30 days. There were several rooms that house all the sculptures and they are kept at 9 degrees. Lucky for us, the Gaylord hands out parkas to make sure that you are warm.
Christopher loved the slide, which was made out of ice.
In addition to the scenes from the Grinch, there was also a Nativity scene.
It was a fun adventure for the Scott family.
